LIGHT FOOTPRINT
For many years I have used tissue paper and gift boxes that are made from recycled material. After seeing more and more problems and devastation that has been caused by my and previous generations, I have set myself a task of making as little impact on the environment as I can.
Today all my packing is made from recycled and natural materials. These can also be recycled and are biodegradable. All materials are sourced in the UK.
These include:
Gift boxes, Pouches, Ribbons, Tissue Paper, Paper Invoice, Business Leaflets, Stickers, Postal Boxes, Bubble Wrap and Tape.
JEWELLERY MATERIALS
I use recycled sterling silver is used in some of my jewellery design. I have a range of jewellery which incorporates genuine sea glass and beach pebbles which I have collected from my local coast line and beaches on my travels.
In my workshop, I use simple tools and traditional techniques, including a lot of elbow grease!
Having been a vegetarian for over 25 years, none of the disposables or tools I use in the business such as metal polishing compounds contain animal products (many traditional tools contain leather and many compounds contain animal fats). I do however use a leather mallet which is second-hand.

DESPATCH
All Mooi Jewellery is handmade and hand-finished to order. Depending on the item(s) ordered, we have different process and delivery times.
On each product page there is an ‘Order Process’ and ‘Delivery’ information section. Please refer to these areas for each item.
The despatch times quoted are from receiving the order and any approved personalisation (e.g. name, prints, artwork), until the despatch of the finished order.
If timescale is an issue, please contact me prior to placing the order. I will always do my best to help.

POSTAGE
All orders to the UK are sent by a Royal Mail service, either by: Tracked 24 or Special Delivery (next day service which requires a signature). Please refer to each product page for details.
All orders outside the UK are sent by a Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed.

PACKAGING
All orders are gift wrapped in one of the Mooi signature boxes or pouches.
All packaging, gift boxes, pouches and tissue paper are recycled,
biodegradable and sourced from the UK.
